Mr Wand goes to LOADS of parties and special events, and it would just be rude not to say a big thank you to everyone for inviting him, and to tell people who weren't there what a great time everyone had. Here's a collection of Mr Wand's thoughts about magical days spent entertaining young audiences.

I have been busy creating magical memories at birthday parties but also working for the Tonbridge and Malling Council entertaining families at the  Children`s centres located throughout the Borough.

The events have been very well attended and enjoyed by the children and adults.

Some feed back and re-bookings from the lady who books me to do the shows. “Sounds like the sessions over Easter went well. They were fully booked so quickly! So by popular demand can you do any of the following dates….” Helen Foskett Tonbridge and Malling Council.

I will share on here the up coming dates as soon as we have them confirmed.

You cant beat a magician performing magic, especial for your child on their birthday.

Mr Wand and Mathew

Yes you can take the kids to an indoor play area, although if it is raining it may be packed with other members of the public and as a little girl said to me the other week ” We do that all the time, I want a special party.” You can`t beat a magician performing magic, especially for your child on their birthday.

You can of course go for one of the many themed  party options, although the girls will probably not enjoy a football party and the boys probably wont enjoy a princess pamper party. Magic shows are enjoyed by all so as I said earlier, You can`t beat a magician performing magic, especially, for your child on their birthday.

What about numbers many of the themed parties and defiantly the indoor play areas charge per head thereby limiting the number of guests you can invite. My magic shows have a one off cost however many guests you invite, the more the merrier.  Another reason you can`t beat a magician performing magic especially, for your child on their birthday.

Most important of all are the memories that will stay with your child long after the party is over. You can`t beat a magician performing magic especially, for your child on their birthday.

So if you haven’t quite  got the message yet here is a testimonial from 6 year old Mathew`s dad who sums it up perfectly :-)

“Hi Mark,
Thank you for a truly amazing performance that kept Matthew and his friends totally captivated for the whole party. Matthew and his friends left the party with lots of lovely magical memories which I am sure will stay with them for ever.

Many thanks again.

With Kind Regards, Stewart”

Christmas Magic Shows

Mr Wand Christmas

It has been another incredibly busy festive season with almost 30 magic shows completed in December. I have performed 3 shows at the Oaks infant school in Sittingbourne, entertained the Strood Cubs and Beavers, the Beavers in Chatham and the Beavers in Lordswood. I have performed magic at playgroups from Dover, Cliffwoods, Sheerness, Ashford, Kingshill, Maidstone, Chatham and Gillingham. Highlights of the season have to be performing yet again at the Gillingham Golf Club Christmas party and the last school show of the year at the Delce infant school where the atmosphere was fantastic.

A big thank you to all who continue to book my services year after year and to those who have booked me for the first time this year. I hope you all had a great Christmas and I hope I added some magical memories to a magical time of the year.

Wedding Entertainment for children and Adults

Bradbourne house (1 of 1)

I have performed at a number of weddings this year and recently performed magic for the guests at a wedding held in Bradbourne House, East Malling. I performed close up magic for the adults and the children at the event during the meal and after when guests vacated the room so that it could be turned around for the evening. The magic was much appreciated by the children and the adults where entertained  as they watched miracle after miracle happen right in front of them.

Close up magic at weddings is becoming more and more popular and it is no wonder why, as it is the perfect way to keep your guests entertained and break the ice.  Mr Wand is the stage name of Mark Gray who  is a great addition to any wedding, he will  get your guests talking and laughing and will provide lots of memorable moments and wonderful photo opportunities as people react to the magic as it is performed right before their eyes.

Many close up magicians will entertain the grown ups leaving the kids out of the experience. Mr Wand will entertain all of your guests, from the young to the old, all will be thrilled and  amazed . All the magic Mr Wand performs has been honed from years of performing at family restaurants and events up and down the country.

The magical entertainment is ideal during the drinks reception, the wedding breakfast, the photo session, room changes in fact because there are no large props or big setups the entertainment is extremely flexible and versatile.

If you are having more than 10 kids at your wedding then some family close up magic could certainly help turn your wedding day into a magical time for everyone one.

Mr Wand, Paddington Bear and Ellie the Ellenor Elephant

Sunday and I was up early to meet Paddington Bear and Ellie the Ellenor elephant  at Maidstone united football ground. Mission for the day was to entertain people attending the Arun cup. The Arun Cup Football Tournament is an annual event  organised by John Cameron of Ward & Partners (part of Arun Estates) this year they where  raising funds and awareness for  Ellenor and Action Medical Research.

There was lots of people in attendance and I helped entertain the children with magic and balloon animals. Paddington Bear asked for a selfie so I obliged, as you do. I also met the girls from Maverick cheerleaders who entertained on the pitch during breaks between the football matches. All in all a great day with money raised for to great charities.

If you would like to find out about the charaties involved, help raise funds or donate You can find details of Action Medical Research here and Ellenor here   If you fancy becoming a cheerleader  you can find out all about the Mavericks here

Beavers magic show

I did a show for  Beavers and Cubs of 21st Strood just before Christmas and was pleased to be invited back to perform at the Beavers 30th birthday party in Strood on the 20th February. With over a hundred Beavers and leaders in attendance the party was great. Lots of games and dancing, a great cake and a super magic show. I was even presented with my very own 30 years of Beavers badge.
